What we collect

When you use our calculator, your inputs (addition type, square footage, ZIP code, quality tier, features) are stored in your browser's session storage only. They're never sent to our servers unless you explicitly submit a form.

If you contact us, we collect your name, email address, and the content of your message. We use this only to respond to your inquiry.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site. GA4 collects anonymized usage data including pages visited, time on site, and general location (city level). We don't enable user-ID tracking or link analytics to personal information.

We also run Cloudflare Web Analytics as a privacy-friendly backup. Cloudflare's analytics don't use cookies and don't track users across sites.

Advertising

We serve display ads through Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to show relevant ads based on your previous browsing history. You can opt out of personalized ads at adssettings.google.com.

Cookies

We use session storage (not cookies) for calculator state. Google Analytics and AdSense set their own cookies per Google's privacy policies. We don't set first-party tracking cookies.

Your rights

You can clear your calculator state at any time by clearing session storage in your browser. If you've submitted a contact form, you can request deletion of your message by emailing us.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the site after that date means you accept the updated policy.
